SUBJECTS COVERED
- Power distribution for shows: efficiency and safety of connections to end equipment.
- Subject-matter: Types of power distribution outage: overloads, short circuits and earth leakages.
- Suitable means of protection and coordination between them.
- Sockets, plugs and cables: characteristics and sizing.
- Reference standards.
- Practical example: design of a power-box using Tisystem 5.1 (Bticino software for sizing control panels).
- Printed and/or electronic documentation will be provided on the subjects covered.
SPEAKER
Andrea Berselli
Born in Modena (Italy) on 6 March 1966.
Qualified electrical engineer. Part-time electrical engineering laboratory teacher at the Pacinotti-Pontedera vocational school, Pisa. Other teaching posts: electrical measurement and electrical systems laboratory teacher at "F. Corni" technical secondary school, Modena (evening classes); electrical and electronic measurement, electrical systems, automatic control, automation, and technical design laboratory teacher at "F. Corni" vocational school, Modena; electrical measurement and electrical systems laboratory teacher at “S. Anna” district penitentiary, Modena, and deviser and coordinator of the “Prison and Theatre” project. During his years of teaching he has held the posts of director of the electrical and electronic measurement laboratory and coordinator of the project for building the school photovoltaic system ("A photovoltaic roof").
