The fair of Bergamo
The exciting new Fair of Bergamo was opened in October 2003, and is a flexible, hi-tech and dynamic building which complements the dynamics of the many events which are staged there.The gross floorspace of 173,000 sqm, comprises 3 main halls- two of 6,500 square metres and one of 3,000 sqm. Outside there is a further 35,000 sqm of exhibition space and parking for 800 cars.
The Centre is a multi-purpose building spread over a number of floor, each of which has a distinct function. The ground floor comprises main entrance, reception, cloakrooms, finance, ticket and information offices together with public meeting areas; the first and the second floor- provide office accommodation and conference rooms.
The Meeting centre offers seating for up to 440, which also include facilities for simultaneous translation. There are also two restaurants, one of 50 seats offering waiter service, and a further self-service area with 220 seats.
The meeting Center
The meeting center is a complex structure made up of 2 Rooms (one of 440 seats, another of 37 seats). It is equipped with every kind of technological service.
CaravaggioRoom is panelled with sound absorbent baffles of a very high design which give it an elegant and winning look. It consists of 440 comfortable armchairs and thanks to a foldaway wall, can be divided in two smaller rooms. The speaker table has 9 positions with microphones, links for portable computers, audio and video equipments and LCD monitors which allow to watch all that is projected on the big screen behind.
In case of International Conventions there are 8 facilities for simultaneous translation, and a direction room coordinates the convention’s multimedia equipments projecting VHS or DVD films, diffusing music, regulating lights and microphones.
Colleoni Room with its 37 seats, is smaller than the other but practical and well equipped, in fact there are microphones, projectors, computers, recording equipment and internet.
It is ideal to organize meetings.
